Evolution rather than Revolution: Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water!
Our 42-year history is one of our strengths. This is because we learn from the past. Too frequently we see organisations that either start, make basic errors and fail; or which try to reinvent themselves, making a point that they are now ‘different’ to how they used to be, and forgetting or even ignoring what the organisation has learned from previous challenges or successes.
Every day we learn new things and develop, both as an organisation and as individuals. We have an ongoing development programme which is driving very substantial improvements throughout the organisation, significantly changing many things, including the way we work and our capabilities. However, while we are changing dramatically, we take care to retain our collective experience and wisdom. We also remain true to our Values that have remained constant over the last 42 years and which guide everything we do.
In many ways we are totally different to the organisation we used to be 10, 20, 30 or 40 years ago; but at the same time, we are very consistent, still believing in and practicing the Values that have guided our success over the years.
